  • Select the option “Enter my own nameservers (advanced)”

5. Enter Your New Nameservers

  • Input the new NS1 and NS2 values

    • Example:

      • delhi.ns.vergedns.com

      • goa.ns.vergedns.com

  • Add more if required (some setups use 3 or more nameservers)

6. Save Changes

  • Click Save or OK

  • You may need to confirm via email or account verification

Propagation Time

DNS changes usually take a few minutes to a few hours, but in some cases, it can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate globally.

Important Notes

  • Make sure your DNS records are set up correctly at the new provider before switching nameservers.

  • During propagation, your site may go down temporarily if misconfigured.

Example

You are moving DNS management to VergeCloud, and they give you:

      • delhi.ns.vergedns.com

      • goa.ns.vergedns.com

You’d update your nameservers in GoDaddy to match those values.
